Auto Grinding

At TPSM we believe in automating all possible processes to allow us to remain competitive. Automation should not just be the preserve of the fabricating and painting areas, but should also be applied to the pre-finishing operations, such as grinding. So in early 2008 Teparay became one of the first U.K. sub-contractors to install a Kuhlmeyer automatic grinding system.

The ease of set-up has meant that the training time has been short and a variety of linishing and fettling operations have been removed from manual stations.

Repeatability is now assured on complex curves and large difficult-to-manoeuvre cabinets.
