Laser Cutting

This is the heart of the rapid proto-typing cell and complements our 5 Amada CNC Turret presses.

It enables us to extend our punching range up to 6mm Mild Steel.

We use an Amada Quattro Laser Cutting System, a flying optics laser with cantilever.

It uses Fanuc Series 160i CNC Control permitting the X,Y and Z axes to be simultaneously controlled.

X axis travel 1260mm, Y axis travel 1260mm, Z axis travel 100mm, with 5" lens.

Repeatable positioning accuracy +/- 0.01mm
